School Days & Career
In El Paso, TX, Krystal was raised by Carlyle and Bertha (Banks) Cunningham. While she was studying at Eastwood High, Krystal took on an active role in the African Dance group. Krystal graduated from the University of Richmond with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science; while in college she also belonged to the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority and African Dance group, and was cheerleader for her football team.
A Career in Multiple Areas
Doing a fantastic job as a Software Engineer for Oracle Health, Krystal made innovative contributions such as getting patents for software that assessed the risk of post-partum hemorrhage. In parallel with her technology career, she also spent over a dozen years cheerleading for the Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders, offering up team spirit and energy for all. A certified yoga instructor at CorePower Yoga was Krystal as well: her commitment to health and balance inspired people.
Family and charity
Krystal married Clayton William Anderson on July 31, 2021 and lives in Leawood Kansas. With radiant joy and joy we may recall at Krystal, she was actively engaged in philanthropy and support in such organizations as Big Brothers Big Sisters of KC, Gabriella’s Little Library.
